We have put together a range of orientation events from week zero (before teaching starts in week one).
Aula
Aula is your online learning platform, where you can access all your course materials and connect with your lecturers and classmates. Your Aula induction will show you how to get started. You can go through the induction at your own pace and revisit it as many times as you like.
Induction programme and timetable
Timetable: Your personalised timetable will be released up to 48 hours after enrolment - you can access your timetable by logging into the Student Portal, find it on Aula or on the Wayfinder app.
Don’t forget – your timetable may change, so keep checking!

Health and Wellbeing
We are here to support students throughout their studies with any health and wellbeing needs. We can listen and refer you to the correct team based on your specific needs. Chat to us online, on the telephone or face-to-face for your mental and physical health needs. Our services include; disability, welfare, mental health, and counselling. Talent Team
Our experienced careers advisers in the Talent Team are here to help you craft your career plan, prepare for interviews, and apply for placements and internships. They also share opportunities for work experience, and organise careers and networking events, to help you build employer contacts. Academic Skills Unit
The Academic Skills Unit are here to help you build the skills you need to excel in your university work, and provide individual tutorials, workshops and self-study resources on everything from academic English, to blog-writing, to maths and statistics. Introducing Your Students’ Union
Your Students’ Union is dedicated to improving your student experience, starting from the moment you arrive. Throughout January, you can join us at a range of events and activities. See more at yoursu.org/london/welcome.
- Once you’re settled in, you can get involved with our ongoing events, join a student group, make a change by signing up to our communities, or become a rep to help improve the student experience. You can boost your skills and employability with us through various workshops, earning digital badges along the way.
- We also offer a range of support services to help you throughout your student journey. Whether you need advice on housing, finances, or academic issues, our independent, confidential advice service is here to help.

Opportunities
Become a Student Ambassador
We have a limited number of ad hoc, paid, flexible Student Ambassador shifts, supporting a range of teams, events and projects. Find out more from the “My Life at Cov Uni London” pages on the Student Portal. Being a student ambassador is also excellent work experience for your CV.
Become a Rep
Course reps and student reps make sure students are heard at all levels of the university. Any student can apply to become a rep. There are a mix of paid and unpaid roles available, but all roles provide great opportunities for personal development. If you’re interested in becoming a rep, you can apply on the Your Students' Union website.
